    Terms and Conditions for golfers

At Leaderboard Tee Times (LTT), you can book tee times with our extensive selection of golf clubs and golf courses throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland on our website, www.leaderboardteetimes.com (the site). Leaderboardteetimes.com is a trading name of Leaderboard Golf Holdings Limited (we), registered in England and Wales under company number 07757090

When you make a tee time booking with a golf club or golf course (the club) on our site, the following terms apply (the Terms and Conditions), so please read them carefully. By using or visiting the site you agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

    1. Contract with the Club

1.1  LTT acts as agent on behalf of the club listed on our site. So when you make your online tee time booking, your contract is with the club, not with LTT and the rules and regulations of the club or course apply. Club rules vary so please ensure you contact the club directly for a copy of the club rules.

    2. What is Included in your Booking

2.1 Your tee time booking is a booking for you to play a round of golf at a particular club at a particular time. Sometimes the price of the booking may include tea, coffee, breakfast, lunch, yardage book, bags or other extras, but only if advertised as part of the tee time price on our site.

    3. Accuracy of Information

3.1 General information about the clubs advertised on our site are provided to us by the clubs. Whilst we try to ensure that this information is correct and up-to-date by regularly contacting the clubs, we rely on the clubs providing us with accurate information. Accordingly, we do not accept any liability whatsoever to you in respect of any inaccurate or erroneous information provided, except to the extent caused by our negligence or fraud.

3.2 Images shown on a club's page; do not necessarily reflect the actual club.

    4. Prices

4.1 Prices for tee times vary according to the standard, quality and variety of the course as well as the club location and facilities. Price savings that we advertise for a particular tee time at a particular club are price discounts on the standard seasonal prices offered by that club.

4.2 Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect a booking in respect of which you have received a Booking Confirmation (see section 6 below).

    5. Availability of tee times

5.1 All tee times offered on our site are supplied by the listed clubs and they are responsible for the accurate display of availability. The tee times advertised are request tee times which have to be checked with the club. Therefore, we cannot guarantee in all cases that the tee time you select will be available.

5.2 Individual tee times are usually available for up to four players, so if your booking includes more than four players, you will need to select more than one tee time. Note that tee times are based on playing in four-balls and therefore you may be paired up with other golfers on the day.

    6. How to Book a tee time

6.1 To book a tee time, you must be 18 years or over. By making the booking you confirm that you and the other players on whose behalf you are making the booking accept the Terms and Conditions and that you will inform the other players of the confirmation details and any other relevant information. 6.2 To book a tee time on our site, please select a club and then choose one of the available tee times for that club on the date you require. You will then be given a summary of the club that you have selected the tee time date and time and the price per person. If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will not be able to process your booking.

6.5 All payments of green fee amounts made to LTT are held on behalf of the club and will be passed to the relevant club in their entirety. Please ensure that you check carefully all the details of your booking request including venue, date, tee time and price before you make payment. If any of the details are incorrect, you can go back to the previous page and re-enter the information. Your booking request constitutes an offer by you to purchase a tee time from the club.

6.6 We accept the following credit or debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Switch, Delta and Connect - which will attract a handling fee. No other methods of payment are accepted.

6.7 Once you have given your payment details, you will receive an e-mail confirming your booking request. Please note that the e-mail is not confirmation that your tee time request has been accepted by the club.

6.8 If the club is unable to provide the tee time you request, but has a tee time within forty minutes of your requested tee time for the same price (a Substitute Tee Time), you hereby agree acceptance of the Substitute Tee Time on your behalf. The Substitute Tee Time will be confirmed in your Booking Confirmation.

10.1 As your contract for your tee time is between you and the club with whom you have made your Booking, any complaints should be addressed to the club directly. We advise you to make any complaints at the time the problem occurs in order to give the club an opportunity to rectify the situation. Delay in making a complaint may reduce your chances of receiving any compensation.

We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. This may also apply to any sensitive information that you give to us such as details of any disabilities or dietary/religious requirements. If we cannot pass your personal information on to the relevant suppliers, whether in the EEA or not, we cannot properly effect your booking. 13. Our Right to Vary the Terms and Conditions

13.1 We have the right to revise and amend the Terms and Conditions from time to time and will publish the up-to-date terms on our website. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you make a booking, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to bookings previously made by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these Terms and Conditions before we send you the e-mail confirmation.

    14. Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by English law and any disputes or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

    Important Golfing Extras

The following extra information has been compiled through our experience of booking tee times at UK golf clubs and courses and form part of our Terms of Business. Please read it carefully, as it will help to ensure that your expectations are met. However, please also read the rules of the club with whom you have booked a tee time.

    1. Pace of Play

Golf courses are usually very busy in the high season and you should expect between a 4 and 4.5 hour round as a reasonable pace of play although this can be slower in extremely busy times. Pace of play cannot be guaranteed by the club.

    2. Playing Conditions

Playing conditions may vary from time to time. Course maintenance such as aerating greens and improving drainage will happen from time to time and often will be scheduled at such short notice, depending on weather, which means that we are not always made aware of when this will occur. Equally, in particularly dry spells, when there are water bans in place, fairways and greens may be burnt and not in the best of playing conditions. Events such as these are out of the control of LTT and the clubs and neither we nor the clubs can be held responsible for the condition of the course that you have booked to play.

    3. Inclement Weather

As adverse weather is inevitable during the course of the year, golf clubs may either close the golf course or operate temporary tees and greens at their sole discretion. Please read our Inclement Weather Policy for further details.

    4. Handicap Certificates

Some clubs will require handicap certificates before accepting visitors; it is your responsibility to check with the club if a handicap certificate is required. Whilst a certificate of playing ability is not essential on all courses, the appropriate golfing etiquette and knowledge of golfing rules is expected and each club reserves the right to refuse access if it is judged that individuals do not display the required etiquette and/or knowledge. We cannot be held responsible in these circumstances.

    5. Dress Code

Appropriate dress and footwear should be worn at all times it is your responsibility to check with the club if they have any dress code policy. We cannot accept responsibility for any ruling by the club if you or any of your group is unable to play or dine due to inappropriate attire.

    6. Behavior

Most clubs reserve the right to refuse access to the course or the clubhouse if you behave without due consideration to other players. Refunds will not be payable in these circumstances. You will be responsible directly to the club for any damage or loss to person or property that you cause and club rules normally require all damage to be paid for in full at the time that it occurs.
